so... you wanna know about me! we already know my name is abigail, but what about who i am as a madtech student? my most recent finished project involved constructing a physical and AR mask that had cultural inspiration. for my design, i crafted my own spin on a diablo mask, specifically a diablo mask from Pillaro, Ecuador. i used methods that real mask-makers used, such as clay sculpting, paper mache, and painting, and incorporated modern day techniques like 3-d printing to make the teeth, horns, and tongue. the ar mask was a bit of a challenge, but i'd say it was overall pretty fun and a great way to flex both physical skills and digital skills!

if you want some fun facts, well... i love collaging! i collected many of the images you clicked on in pinterest, and they are some of my favorites to use for ocean themes! i also really like painting (hey, that fish you just clicked on was painted by me! when i was like 13!).i also love snoopy, but i do have to say i am more of a cat person than a dog person..
